| Job Description / Duties: | Performs testing of manufactured parts or products to certify quality and adherence to specifications Performs incoming inspection of purchased products to certify quality and adherence to specifications Develops and maintains QC/QA database and records results of all testing procedures Leads quality assurance program and ensures quality problems are identified and resolved Evaluates systems, analyzes data, evaluates products and technology and establishes quality control procedures Investigates product quality problems and recommends changes or improvements Participates in vendor evaluation. |
| Qualifications: | 2 + years experience required Hands on knowledge of machine shop techniques and technology, and industry recognized standards and spec’s Experience with engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation Exhibits strong communication, documentation, organizational and computer skills Ability to productively interact with different groups. Eg suppliers, customers, Mfg staff, Engineering personnel Graduate of technologist or technician diploma program, or equivalent experience, a minimum. |
